# Refund & Cancellation Policy – El Shorouk Night Run 2026

We appreciate your interest in participating in the El Shorouk Night Run 2026. Because registration includes logistical preparations (BIB, timing chip, medal, t-shirt) before race day, our refund policy is as follows:

## 1. No Refunds After Registration:
– All registration fees are **final and non-refundable** under normal circumstances (including change of mind, inability to attend for personal or non-verified medical reasons).
– This policy applies to both ticket types: Standard (250 EGP) and Premium (450 EGP).

## 2. Exceptional Cases (Partial Refund or Transfer):
TUA will review refund requests only in the following documented cases:
– **Event fully cancelled by government authorities or due to force majeure (natural disasters, curfew, pandemic)** – 70% of ticket value refunded after deducting administrative and preparation costs.
– **Death of participant** – 100% refund to legal heirs upon official notification.
– **Serious injury preventing participation (with official report from a government hospital)** – 50% refund OR transfer to another person (up to 7 days before event date).

## 3. Transferring Registration to Another Person:
– You may transfer your BIB to another person (same distance and ticket type) up to **7 days before race day** (i.e., before June 5, 2026), by emailing: tua.events.eg@gmail.com
– No transfer fee applies. The new participant must complete the full registration form and upload their ID copy.

## 4. Event Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances:
If the event is cancelled due to severe weather, security directives, or any force majeure less than 48 hours before start time, the only option will be an **automatic ticket transfer to the next edition of the same race** (no refund).

## 5. How to Request a Refund:
To request a refund under one of the exceptional cases above, please email us with:
– Your full name
– Registration confirmation number (or payment receipt copy)
– Reason for request + supporting documents
